Cain and False Doctrines

Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds [they are] without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

Genesis 4
1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the
LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5 But unto
Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door.
And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field,
that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

The Specifics of God's Covenants

What caused God to have respect for one offering and not another? The Bible tells us that God is no respecter of persons, so how could he have respect for one brothers offering and not for the others? Well it was not a respect of Abel over Cain, but Abel's obedience to God's covenant more precisely than Cain, therefore Abel believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. What was the specific that Abel obeyed that Cain disobeyed? Did they not both bring a sacrifice to the altar. Did they not both have enough faith in God to cause them to bring sacrifice to Him? The principle here is that Faith Alone is not enough. Sacrifice is not enough. God has authored a Specific Plan to mankind, which MUST not be altered. Why? Because God does not make mistakes. And when man takes it on himself when trying to please God and does not follow God's covenant, he is in error and on his way to being rejected by God. Because it is not in man to direct his own steps, the steps of a righteous man are ordered of the LORD. That way if a man finds himself pleasing to God, it is only because of God's grace not because of that man's works. Knowing this that man is not justified by his own works, but by grace through fatih. "For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his."

Hebrews 11:4
By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

A more Excellent Sacrifice

So if Faith Alone is not enough and sacrifice not enough what is enough? What does it take? What is the answer on how man will please God? The answer is given by Jesus Christ. He told us to "Strive to Enter in at the strait gate" which brings a person to the attitude that Abel had. Obviously Cain had faith, brought a sacrifice, and looked as though he should be accepted by God. However, somewhere Cain disobeyed God's covenant. What was the difference between Cain's offering and Abel's offering? Abel brought forth an animal, Cain brought forth fruit. And God rejected Cain's offering but had respect for Abel's offering. It was the blood, a specific item that meant so much to God that he could not accept otherwise.

Hebrews 9:22
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Abel, by faith, by faith, by faith, by faith found what God wanted. Abel's faith was so hungry to please God that he wanted to do it God's way. What did this cost him? It made his brother furious. That was not Abel's intention, all he wanted to do is obey God. He loved his God and he wanted more than anything to be right with him. But his brother which was sincere also, was sincerely missing an important specific of the covenant. BLOOD. God required BLOOD. That is God's plan. Cain hated Abel because of this. Now God tried to talk to Cain. He told Cain that if Cain would do it right he would be accepted. Cain became all the more upset and he rose up against God and killed his brother. Abel died for obeying God and Cain killed him because he did not want to obey God.

The Religious System of Cain

To wit that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. Now in our time, God authored His Gospel through Christ. He robed Himself in flesh and gave explicit and specific instructions to His apostles on what how to obey and teach this gospel to all the world. He shed His own blood through the life of His Son, and paid the penalty of death that each and every human being deserves for our sins. It is amazing how Cain's spirit lives on. It has inflitrated the church houses of this world and men will preach his message until Jesus returns and lead a lot of people to an eternity wihtout God, being rejected because they did not teach these people to obey the specific Covenant of God.

Abel's Offspring Unless a man is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. John 3:5
Cain's Offspring "Accept the Lord Jesus as your personal Saviour and you will be saved."
Abel's Offspring If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. Romans 8:9
Cain's Offspring "If you simply love and trust Jesus you do not need to be baptized in the Spirit that is only for strong Chrisitans"
Abel's Offspring Have you received the Holy Ghost SINCE ye believed... they spake with tongues...? Acts 19:1-5
Cain's Offspring "You receive the Spirit WHEN you believe, don't worry speaking in tongues it is not necessary."
Abel's Offspring Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the REMISSION OF SINS... Acts 2:38
Cain's Offspring "Baptism is only an outward sign of an inward cleansing."

Beware of False Prophets who will tickle your ears and teach fables. They will turn your ear away from the Truth and you will follow Cain's error.

God requires BLOOD WATER and SPIRIT.

1 John 5
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth,
the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

The witness of God which he hath testified of His Son.

What witness should we receive of God that our sacrifice has been accepted? It is Blood Water and Spirit. What does this mean to us? Simple. The words of Paul will answer this:

Romans 6:3-6
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are
buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

This witness it the Gospel that Jesus authored at Calvary. Death. Burial. Resurrection. This same Gospel was preached by Peter on the day of Pentecost. Repentance. Water Baptism. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost. This mean Blood. Water. Spirit. Meaning that the specifics of the Covenant of Grace given to the Apostles which preached it in Jerusalem, Samaria, and to the upper most parts of the world must be obeyed the way God gave it to us. Therefore the testimony of God is that when a person is seeking to be redeemed from sin, the sacrifice must repent. Be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Then God's approval is seen as the Holy Ghost fills their soul and they begin to speak in other tongues. The Testimony of God is greater.

The "Christian" World Despises this message.

The world is packed full of men that use the Bible to preach from. However they are the offspring of Cain. As you read your history book you will see that men who dared to preach the Gospel unadulterated as found in Acts 2:38 have been beheaded and martyred. The Romans fed them to lions, and the Protestants burned them at the stake. Cain's offspring cannot stand to see someone obey God fully and will do anything to ease their conscience as they disobey His Word.

1 Peter 2:7-8
Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient,
the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even
to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

As Abel was in the past so is the True Church. The True Church is standing for God's specific Covenant. The world calls us fanatical. The other churches call us legalist. We are not intentionally going out there to hurt anyone. As Abel, we are just desiring to please God, and as a result, the spirit of Cain would like to see us die because Cain is stumbling at the word, being disobedient
